About the Role
The Progress Fellowship is a program seeking to find young talent and nourish it by establishing a workplace that both mirrors the real world political and environment and gives the young talent the space and resources to flourish.
The Progress Fellow Project Director will spearhead the Progress Libs Progress Fellowship and be a guiding voice for the fellows while also leading the project planning and day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Progress Libs Fellowship, including managing candidates, involving mentors, creating and following a project timeline
- Conduct thorough interviews with prospective fellowship candidates to assess their suitability for the program and alignment with Progress Libs' values and objectives.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to fellows throughout their tenure, including mentorship matching, goal setting, and progress tracking.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the fellowship program, ensuring smooth coordination of activities, timely communication, and effective resource allocation.
- Collaborate closely with other team members to integrate the fellowship program into broader organizational initiatives and campaigns.
Qualifications
- Experience with mentorship programs or talent development initiatives
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using relevant organizational and project management tools.
